myGSN is now active and updated with the latest features.  There are a few things to keep in mind about this update:

• Passwords did not import.  You will have to recover and reset your password to login.
• Keep in mind that now all of the features are working on all browsers.
• Yes the site's banner and some of the colors and graphics are not ideal, but we will work on this.
• The stats are not active, but will be by the end of this weekend
• The stats are now housed by us, and not HLstatsX.  This will save costs.
• All stats are starting from zero.
• We closed the 24/7 Dustbowl server for some Left 4 Dead servers.
• Left 4 Dead servers will be active in the next 48 hours.

I am sure I missed some things, but we are working on them.  We just didn't want to wait to launch the server.

Electronic Arts earlier this year announced  Battlefield 1943, which will be the next game in the successful bf series. myGSN will be covering new developments for the game right up to it's release date. For all those interested, here is a video interview with the games developer highlighting some of the games changes and improvements over its earlier sibling in the series. Enjoy!

On Monday myTF2 will be 1 year old!  Happy Birthday to US!  The date was in question but we finally worked it out.  So come celebrate with everyone this weekend as we party on the servers with hats and a new addition to the bonus round immunity plugin for donators!

If you have not been aware, a lot of steam accounts have been hijacked lately. It is done by clicking on a link that a "friend" sent you. This friend was recently hijacked and requests you to view a picture at a website, or something similar. This website is NOT steam but looks exactly like it. This is called a "phishing scam". They get you to login to this "fake" steam site and get your username and password. Once done, they change your password and steal your account information.

The first two matches of the myTF2 Tournament have finally taken place.  The dice have been thrown and fate has decided.
 
The first match was between the A Team and the C Team.  It all started on the land of the bads, I mean Badlands.  After a couple technical problems, the match was set and the clock started to tick.  The C Team won the first two round pretty quickly, but the A team didn't lose spirit and rallied back to win the third round.  After a longer battle for the final round, time run out and the C team was victorious at 2-1.

The players then headed for the second map, which was set to Fastlane.  As it is a pretty big map, it was almost a tie between the two teams, but once again, the C Team managed to sneak their way up to the last Control Point and won the map bringing them to an impressive victory.
 
The second match took place in the same mean land, Badlands, between the B and D Teams.  Only after a couple minutes, it was clear the B team was stronger.  They took the middle point very quickly to move on to the second-last point where most of the battles took place.  Soldiers rocket jumping everywhere to get on the point fast while scouts were busy trying to take the medics down.  Every battle on the second-to-last point, and the game, was ended when the B Team managed to fully take the point while allowing one of their team members to sneak around to the very last point.

During the second round, the D Team managed to capture all the points except the very last one, and while disputing an epic battle on it, some players from the B Team took the second-last point back.  They quickly rushed forward to take all the other points, while the D Team had trouble catching up.  Final score?  3-0 for the B team.
